About maintenance
warn! : More and more innovative technologies have made bicycle production technology more and more advanced, and parts and components more and more complex. This manual cannot possibly provide all the information about repairing and maintaining your bicycle. In order to minimize the chance of accidents and injuries, dealers will try to perform more maintenance on your car beyond what is described in the manual. Of course, it's also important that you take care of your bike in a way that's tailored to the way you ride and where you ride. Please consult your dealer regarding care and maintenance.
warn! : Bicycle repair and maintenance require professional knowledge and tools. Don’t make any adjustments or maintenance if you don’t understand it, otherwise the bicycle may be damaged or an accident may occur, resulting in serious casualties. If you want to learn major repairs and maintenance:
1. Please ask your dealer for introductory materials on bicycle parts installation and maintenance, or contact the parts manufacturer.
2. Ask your dealer to recommend books on bicycle maintenance.
3. Ask your dealer about bicycle maintenance courses.
After your initial repair or maintenance, we recommend that you have it checked by a dealer to make sure it is correct before riding. The dealer may charge labor fees as appropriate.
After you learn how to replace parts, it is recommended that you ask the dealer what spare parts are suitable for your car, such as inner tubes.

Maintenance interval
Some repairs and maintenance that do not require special tools or knowledge can be performed by the vehicle owner and are described in this manual.
The following are repairs and maintenance you can do yourself. Other repairs and maintenance should be done by a qualified bicycle mechanic using professional tools and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
1. Break-in period: If there is a good break-in period before you ride vigorously, your bicycle will last longer and ride more comfortably. After a new car is used for the first time, the control wires and strips may be stretched or stuck, requiring adjustment by the dealer. If you do your own mechanical safety inspection ("Safety inspection of your bike" above), you'll find a few things that need adjusting. If no problem is found, it is best to take the car to the dealer for inspection. Merchants generally recommend checking after 30 days. Another method is to have the dealer inspect it after 3 to 5 hours of off-road riding, or after 10 to 15 hours of road or leisure riding. If you think there's something wrong with your car, have it checked by a dealer before riding it.
2. Before each ride: Mechanical safety inspection ("Bicycle Safety Inspection" above).
3. After long-distance or intense riding: if the bicycle has been exposed to water or sand; or after riding for at least 160 kilometers: clean the bicycle and oil the chain with special bicycle chain oil. Use a lint-free cloth to wipe off excess oil. To choose lubricants based on your local environment and climate, consult your dealer. Notice! Avoid oil hitting the rim or brake components!
4. After long-distance or intense riding, or after riding for 10 to 20 hours:
① Lock the front brake and rock the bike forward and backward. Does it feel reliable? If there is looseness, the wrist assembly may be loose. Have the dealer inspect it.
② Lift the front wheel and swing the handlebar left and right. Does it feel smooth? If it doesn't feel smooth, the wrist set may be too tight. Ask your dealer to check it.
③Hold one of the pedals and shake it in the vertical direction of the bicycle to see if there is any looseness. If so, ask the dealer to check it.
Check the brake pads, are they worn? Is it directly touching the rim? If there is wear or contact, ask the dealer to adjust or replace it.
Check the wire pipe, is there any rust? tie? Wear and tear? If so, ask the dealer to replace it.
Use your thumb and forefinger to pinch each two crossed steel wires of the wheel. Does it feel the same? If it feels loose, have your dealer check the wire tension.
Check whether the tires are excessively worn or punctured and have them replaced by the dealer.
Check the rims for excessive wear, unevenness, or scratches, and if so, consult your dealer. Check whether all components are installed securely and install any unreliable components.
Check the frame, especially where the tubes connect, and check the handlebars, stems, and seatposts for deep scratches, cracks, or discoloration. These all mean excessive stress and fatigue, and parts need to be replaced at the end of their life.
Notice! : Like all mechanical devices, bicycles and their accessories are subject to wear and stress. Different materials and mechanical devices have different stress, wear or fatigue levels. If the service life of the parts is exceeded, the parts may suddenly break, causing injury or even death to the rider. Scratches, cracks, wear, and discoloration are all signs of part fatigue, telling you that the parts need to be replaced at the end of their life. Bicycles or various parts and components have a certain service life and warranty period based on materials and workmanship, provided by their manufacturers, but this does not guarantee that the product will work properly during its service life. The lifespan of a product is usually related to the way you ride and how you treat your bike. The service life does not mean that the bicycle will not break and can be used forever, it only means the length of time the bicycle can be used under normal use. Please be sure to read "Appendix 1" to understand what your bicycle is designed to do.
